Dog portraits
I draw dogs in coloured pencil, one fine layer at a time, on plain white paper. The eyes and the fur are what I care about most, from a dachshund's glossy coat to a terrier's scruff.

More than one dog
I draw them together in one portrait. Online you can book up to four; each extra animal adds R900 at A4 and R1 200 at A3. More than four? Message me first. An A5 portrait is of one animal.
Their collar, their tag, their favourite toy
Tell me what to include: their collar, name tag, harness, jacket or jumper, bandana or favourite toy.
Photos that work best
- Daylight near a window, no flash
- Taken at your dog's eye level
- Eyes in focus, with the whole head and ears in frame
- At least one photo per animal; more helps

- A5, 14.8 × 21 cm, about 3 weeks: R1 800
- A4, 21 × 29.7 cm, about 4 weeks: R2 800
- A3, 29.7 × 42 cm, about 6 weeks: R3 900

- About halfway through, I send you a progress photo.
- When it's finished, I send you a photo. Then I ship it.
